My name is Karen Waite and I am a current sitting Solvang City Councilmember who has been proudly serving this great community for the past 12 years. I am an active community volunteer, business woman and 25 year resident of this beautiful Santa Ynez Valley that I call home. As your Solvang City Mayor I pledge to continue to deliver to you my commitment of preserving our historic Solvang heritage while working to maintain a balance between the needs of residents, businesses and the interests of growing tourism during these unprecedented times which is vital to this city.
